ANDROID DEVELOPMENT

DroidBake

Build it. Ship it.

Build Android apps locally on Android. Import source, create from an idea, repair build problems, install, test and keep developing — without turning your phone into a thin client for a remote build service.

WHAT IS DROIDBAKE?

Your Android development workshop,
on Android.

DroidBake is built around a simple idea: your device should do the work it can do locally. It can take an Android project from imported source to a real build, help recover from build failures, and keep the development loop on the device.

It is designed for both source-driven development and beginner-friendly app creation, with technical details available when you want them and a guided flow when you do not.

WORKFLOW

From idea to installed app.

DroidBake keeps control of the process and moves through the development loop step by step.

01

Import or describe

Start from Android source or begin from a description of the app you want to make.

02

Build locally

Use the device's local build environment to compile the project instead of depending on a cloud build as the default.

03

Repair when needed

Analyze real build failures, prepare targeted repairs and retry the build without rewriting unrelated parts of the project.

04

Install & continue

Install the result on Android, keep project history, iterate and rebuild as the app evolves.

CAPABILITIES

Built for a real development loop.

DroidBake combines local building, repair tooling and project continuity in one Android-first workflow.

Local Android builds

Compile Android projects directly on supported Android hardware with a device-aware local toolchain.

Source import

Bring in existing project source instead of being locked into projects created inside DroidBake.

Local AI creation

Use on-device AI where supported to help turn descriptions and project context into app changes.

Build repair

Work from actual build errors, plan focused fixes, validate them and retry the build.

Snapshots & history

Keep development states and restore earlier versions when an experiment or repair needs to be rolled back.

Device adaptive

Adjust behavior to the available RAM, CPU, storage and hardware profile instead of assuming one fixed device.

Install on device

Move from build result to an installable Android app as part of the same development flow.

{ }

Corrected source export

For supported paid distribution flows, repaired source can travel with the app artifacts and repair report.

🔥LOCAL FIRST
LOCAL CONTROL

Your device stays in charge.

DroidBake is designed to do everything it confidently can on the device first: inspect, build, diagnose, repair, validate and continue the workflow locally.

AI Boost is an optional assistive fallback for specific unresolved problems. When used, only the minimum necessary error context should be sent to the external provider selected by the user. DroidBake then takes control again to validate the proposed fix, apply it when appropriate, rebuild and continue.

DESIGNED FOR CONTROL

Repair without losing the project.

Targeted repairsFix the failure, not the whole codebase.
Project historySnapshots and restore points help protect ongoing work.
Repair handoffReports can document what changed and why.
Responsive technical detailsLarge logs are handled without turning the interface into the bottleneck.
DEVELOPMENT STATUS
