Nyfir Studios: Hub — intended setup flow
This is a planning guide for an unreleased product. It does not contain a download, fabricated screenshots, installation commands, or claims that setup is currently available.
Details may change before a verified public release.
Proposed system requirements
Windows support is part of the current development direction. Exact supported versions, CPU features, RAM, GPU, storage, and driver requirements have not yet been verified for a public release.
Intended first-run sequence
- Download a signed public release from an official Nyfir Studios page.
- Review verified requirements and installation notes.
- Launch the workspace and inspect detected hardware.
- Choose local, cloud, or hybrid operation.
- Select a compatible model or provider after reviewing requirements and privacy boundaries.
- Run a non-sensitive test and review diagnostics.
Local, cloud, and hybrid setup
Local setup is intended to connect a supported runtime and model. Cloud setup would require user-supplied provider credentials stored through an appropriate secure mechanism. Hybrid setup would define which tasks and data may cross the device boundary. None of these procedures is published as complete until verified in a public build.
Troubleshooting preparation
A future support report should include Hub version, Windows version, hardware summary, runtime and model identifiers, the exact error, and whether the task was local or remote. It must exclude passwords, API keys, private files, and personal data.
