NYFIR STUDIOSFigureDesk is a local-first Android workspace for small-business administration. It brings customers and items, invoices and quotes, document workflows and the integrated Nyfir Books accounting foundation into one app.
Instead of spreading everyday business work across separate utilities, FigureDesk is designed as one coherent workspace. The goal is to make common administrative tasks understandable and useful without requiring a cloud account for the core experience.
The project focuses on a beginner-friendly path from calculation and business documents to structured bookkeeping. Data is kept local-first, with privacy, predictable costs and clear workflows as core design principles.
FigureDesk combines persistent business data and document workflows with Nyfir Books, the accounting section built into FigureDesk rather than a separate app.
The current development line includes an accounting foundation with exact money handling, traceable voucher posting and controlled accounting flows. Work is progressing carefully: functionality is only presented as verified when it has actually passed the required tests.
Current status: controlled test use. FigureDesk has passed substantial automated and physical testing, but it is not presented as approved for complete real-world bookkeeping, declarations or authority submissions.
